ID Requirements
Every client must present an original valid government-issued photo ID such as:
- International Passport
- National Identity Card (NIN)
- Driver's Licence
- Voter's Card
Note: Your signature and right thumbprint will be taken in my presence and recorded in the official Notarial Register.
Official Notarial Seal
Every document receives my official seal, which contains:
- My full name
- The inscription "Notary Public for Nigeria"
- The Coat of Arms of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
All seals are applied using a metallic embosser and/or official ink stamp.
Notarial Register
Every single notarial act is permanently recorded in my bound Notarial Register as required by the Notaries Public Act (Cap. N141, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004).
- The register contains:
- Date of notarization
- Nature of document
- Names of parties
- Type of ID presented
- Fee charged
- Official seal
Fees
Fees are fair, transparent, and based on the nature and urgency of the document.
A detailed fee schedule is displayed in the office and will always be communicated and agreed before any work begins.
Official receipts are issued for every payment.
Important Legal Notices
- I do not give legal advice unless I am instructed separately in my capacity as a legal practitioner.
- I cannot notarize any document in which I have a personal or financial interest.
- All clients must appear personally before me (except in very limited cases where overseas digital protocols are permitted).
- Your personal data is collected only for notarial purposes and is protected under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) 2019.
